Guides & Facilitators

Ananda

Ananda helps to facilitate retreats at Sinchi Runa, while studying under the guidance of Maestro Sanango and the master plants. He has spent many months in silence and solitude, dieting a variety of master plants and communing with Ayahuasca and the plant world, before beginning to assist on retreats. With a caring and calm presence, Ananda helps to hold space for the process of all who come for healing.

Prior to Sinchi Runa, Ananda spent many years practicing meditation, attending and serving on silent retreats, and eventually maturing his practice to begin sharing what he has learned on his journey. He continues to make use of this to help guide participants in their processes and encounters with the master plants.

“Ayahuasca continues to help me discover what I am and let go what I thought I was. She helps me to remember my nature of Love, an eternal existence beyond all ideas or thoughts of my mind. She has shown me the compassion and love that exists in the heart of humanity, and a hope for what humanity could become in remembering and embracing it’s heart. She helps me to see me my own suffering, to heal and to let go, and teaches me to recognise that same suffering, and the same heart, in everyone and everything around me. I am so honoured and so very humbled to be able to play my small role in serving this sacred medicine, and to share that which has made such a difference to my own healing and life.”

Shaman and Healer

Maestro Sanango

“Each plant, gemstone, perfume or essence that I use has come by speaking to me; as every mantra or icaro and each teacher with their own truth and darkness. I cannot define who I am with words, but I am inviting master plants, healing with my hands, giving perfumes and scents, love, comfort, trust and information from the universe through the wisdom that I can channel.

I can speak with some worlds and some other worldly beings. I can see the “disease” and remove it. I can see the chaos of suffering and fear expressed as the illusion we call hell and parasites or creatures that infest us. I feel the universe as light, vibration, and as an expression of the will of God; which is love, compassion and truth.”

The Gift of the Plants

One of the best ways to get to know Maestro Sanango, and how we work with Ayahuasca and Master Plants at Sinchi Runa, is through our podcast & blog. We are honored to share recordings of Maestro Sanango’s wisdom, where he speaks about awakening through a path of Yoga with the Plants, and the immense gift and opportunity that the plants are for the healing of humanity and our hearts.
