“Open up Heart, open up feeling,

open up understanding,

leave reason aside”

Rosa Giove Nakazawa (Tarapoto – Perú 1952-2022)

The human capacity to learn to leave the mandates of the mind, to leave the “shoulds”, the ego, accumulated through hundreds of suffering generations sheltered in the intellect in order not to feel, is the key to the hope of a new time. The ikaro that came to Rosa speaks to humanity in this moment of transition and difficult crisis about the capacity to leave the mind, to open the heart, to listen… To listen to the magic of the wind, the rain and the very silence that speaks within you. You can sit alone under a tree as if for the first time, you can listen to the sounds of the forest, the wind, and feel the contained languages of the universe in pachamama. You can listen, inside and outside of you to the universe – there is no difference – and you can understand, by this means, the divine codes intertwined in matter, you can see the spirals of mathematical successions, of the biological formations in the branches of the trees and in the snails. Everything is shouting to you how the universe works and is telling you about perfection.

We have been searching for truths only in books or elaborate information, blindly trusting in the knowledge of others, without seeing that perception of each reality is different because of the suffering, reaction and limits of each human experience. We blindly believe in theories, many of them absurd, “scientific” or religious. We surrender the responsibility of understanding and receive in return the imperfection of dogma or the mental theory of “God’s will”. We stop experiencing God by living in the world of beliefs and give up understanding in the comfort of pre-digested truths, full of paradigms, judgments and justifications elaborated from the mind. So we have built a world of pain, without connection, without heart and understanding. A world of fear, of judgment and sin, of exiles, of hunger, of nationalities and wars, a world of foreign land and forbidden feet. We are this heartless reality built with much intellect, without truth or compassion.

To open your heart is to recreate yourself in the memory of the universe contained within you. Within every physical molecule, cell or photon that makes up this vibration of our body. Inside you are millions of years of changes, of evolutions, of consciousness. All your subtle and physical forms are full of memories, of the truth of God and of the infinite. Just sit in the forest or in front of the sea, listen, feel… contemplate, from the inside to the outside your breath – you exist in everything you perceive. There is not much more time to wander in your fears and limitations, you are EVERYTHING, listen to it! Open your heart.

When a true master leaves this cover, their light expands like the stars. Rosa Giove passed away this year and those of us who received some of her light can remember her presence with infinite gratitude. Once Rosa sent me a book during a shamanic diet after insisting and asking her a lot that I needed to read. She sent me “The cultivation of carrots” – an unimaginable title for someone who at that time expected something like a book by Jung or Terence McKenna, something that could sustain in my mind what I was living, or was adequate for my intellectual self-status at that time. Actually, the book I received was the right one because we need to get our hands in the soil, to learn from the simplicity and silence of cultivation. To understand our humanity, not through the musings of the mind or theories, for as much knowledge or wisdom as they seem to support, they are requiring logic and taking us away from our heart. They are still other minds, other experiences that we can see in a context of study. But not in the communion that a shamanic diet asks of us… Communion with yourself, mother earth and the memory of humanity stored within you.

The opportunity of Ayahuasca is immense, to open the heart of humanity to connect with itself, knowledge and truth linked to God and the universe, but above all to realize our existence as consciousness and transcendence. This opportunity requires a lot of responsibility, to get out of all the masks of the Pharisees, of the paradigms and characters to which the majority of spiritual paths have accustomed us by their ease, the pride of ignorance and the search for power. Teachers like Rosa Giove are not around every corner, there is too much falsehood and confusion. Let’s assume that this opportunity carries many dangers of opening doors of darkness, of toxic entities and frequencies. Let us put all our will into finding the right path to heal with master plants.

It is vital to see the purity of the truth reflected in the one who is going to guide our steps through this form of medicine of consciousness, to help us set our intention strong, framed in the love of truth. For this we need to open our heart to silence, to the absence of pride, to work and sacrifice, which leads us to a real path with plants.
